Wavelength was founded in 2001 and at Wavelength we focus on accountancy recruitment, specifically recruiting to the Public Practice market. We recruit from trainee to direct partner entry level.
The service we provide at Wavelength is very efficient and saves both clients and candidates a good deal of time and effort. This also means saving clients chargeable time and therefore money.
Having an in-depth understanding of the practice market helps enormously when putting forward the right candidate for a vacancy. We understand exactly what the qualifications mean and have a clear vision as to what that candidate is looking for. From the other side, we also understand what skills candidates need to fill a client’s vacancy.”
Every candidate is interviewed by Wavelength, thereby helping the team to filter suitable candidates. This cuts down the valuable time an accountancy practice needs to spend on interviews. This also means we are not wasting candidates’ time in a hit and hope fashion by arranging pointless interviews for them.
Consistency of service
Over the years, at Wavelength we have seen candidates’ careers develop so that the individuals we helped in the early stages of their career are now on their second or third career move. They are now back in touch with Wavelength asking them to find new staff for their own departments or practices. In many cases some of these candidates are now Partners themselves.
We are amazed that some agencies still do not meet with candidates in the first instance. For us it is a vital part of the process to get to know candidates and discuss their experiences and qualifications with them and ensures that when put forward for interview, they have a good chance of meeting the client’s requirements in terms of skills and team fit.
