Audit & Accounts Senior – Career Development with a Leading Independent Firm
An established and growing accountancy firm in Leicester is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts professional to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality accounts and advisory services across a range of compliance, reporting, and planning matters.

Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax computations in accordance with UK regulations.

Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with both the internal team and clients.

Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit and accounts process.

Stay up to date with changes in audit, accounting, and tax legislation.

Work closely with audit, tax, and accounts teams to ensure seamless client service.

Supervise and support junior team members, including training and performance feedback.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to long-term service excellence.
Candidate Profile:

ACA or ACCA qualified, or currently studying towards qualification.

Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax compliance, and audit procedures.

Ability to manage multiple client projects and deliver to deadlines.
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients.

Experience leading on-site audit teams and mentoring junior staff.
-
High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and a commitment to integrity.

Familiarity with CCH or Caseware software is desirable but not essential.
