Corporate Finance Executive / Assistant Manager – Transaction Services
Are you a qualified accountant looking to move beyond traditional audit and into transaction-focused corporate finance work?
This opportunity is with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants, joining a growing Corporate Finance team that works across a broad range of transactions, with a particular focus on financial and commercial due diligence.
The role will suit someone with a strong audit or transaction services background who is keen to gain deeper exposure to deals and commercial advisory work within public practice.
The role
You’ll support corporate finance transactions from a due diligence and analytical perspective, working closely with senior team members on a variety of assignments, including:

Business acquisitions and disposals

Management buyouts and investment transactions

Financial and commercial due diligence

Transaction support and deal analysis
-
Occasional exposure to overseas work
The work is transactional in nature and varied, offering insight into how deals are structured and executed in practice.
Key responsibilities

Analysing financial statements, management information and forecasts
-
Supporting the preparation of reports and client deliverables
-
Building and reviewing financial models
-
Undertaking market, sector and buyer research

Attending client meetings and supporting deal execution
-
Developing relationships with intermediaries, lenders and other advisers
What we’re looking for

ACA or ACCA qualified

Background in audit or corporate finance within practice

Strong technical and analytical skills

Confident written and verbal communication

Well organised, proactive and keen to take on responsibility
