£40K – £50K (Depending on experience)
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading independent accountancy firm in Northampton for a Senior Accountant with solid experience in practice and an eye on career progression.

👥 About the role
You’ll be working closely with a broad range of clients — from sole traders and partnerships to OMBs, larger businesses, and HNWIs. This is a hands-on role in a supportive, forward-thinking team.
Key responsibilities:

Accounts prep for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and charities

Monthly/quarterly management accounts

Workflow oversight and planning

Client review meetings
-
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
You’ll report directly to the Partners and play a vital role in the delivery of accounts and tax services using tools like Sage and IRIS.
📌 Who we’re looking for

ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level)

Experienced in practice (essential)

Ideally with experience using CCH, Xero, and other cloud accounting software

Someone confident, motivated, and ready to take the next step in their career
