Senior Accountant – Northamptonshire | Up to £45K
Are you an experienced ACA or ACCA-qualified accountant looking to join a friendly, forward-thinking firm with a varied and growing client base?
This is a great opportunity to take on a hands-on, client-focused role in a modern practice environment. You’ll be working with a wide mix of businesses—from small owner-managed firms to larger groups with turnover up to £55m—delivering a high-quality accounts and tax service, while also supporting junior staff and contributing to the wider success of the team.

What you’ll be doing:

Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
-
Producing business and corporation tax computations
-
Preparing VAT returns and management accounts
-
Liaising with clients to gather info and resolve queries

Supporting junior staff with training and guidance
-
Taking on occasional ad hoc assignments
What you’ll need:

ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist) with strong practice experience

Solid background preparing accounts and tax computations
-
Excellent communication skills—comfortable working with clients

Strong Excel and general IT skills
-
Attention to detail, ability to manage your workload, and a proactive approach

Willingness to travel to client sites occasionally
